Gorgeous Kitchen Remodel featuring Reclaimed Teak Cinta

The good folks at South Bay Green just finished this awesome juice-bar project for a client in Manhattan Beach. They used @neolith_usa for the perimeter bar, @caesarstoneus for the island/table and our amazing custom Indoteak Cinta teak-wood tiles for the backsplash. The colors all tie together with the reclaimed bricks on the ceiling.

The Cinta line was designed to maximize our rare and precious reclaimed teak that we used for our larger products like flooring, decking and cladding. After the large pieces are used, we then use the smaller pieces to create the Cinta line. We do this because we want to keep waste to a minimum.

Indoteak Design Client Profile: WeWork Offices

New York City. The name conjours images of Broadway, hipsters, architecture that tickles the sky and, most of all, business. If you are young, driven and looking to make your mark in the business world, you will most likely spend some years in New York pursuing your goals and dreams.

The flip side to the masses who make the pilgrimage to the city, is the shocking lack of living space that is anywhere close to affordable. Stories of studio apartments fetching $2500 a month are real. Young professionals had an equally hard time trying to post up at coffee shops to bootleg the free wifi. Lucky for them, WeWork opened a beautiful office space right in the heart of the city.

Indoteak Design Project Spotlight: Monaco Drive Gym & Spa

Some homes exude a different level of design, elegance and beauty. The Monaco Dr. residence, designed by The KAA Design Group, was a challenging hillside project that tasked the designers with an unusual layout for a new pool and gym complex for an existing home. Not many people can boast about having a 6,000 square foot gym and spa area tucked below their existing tennis court. This property design does well at preserving the surrounding landscape, keeping the secluded vibe of the topography. While it’s independent of the tennis court structure above, the new spa houses workout facilities, an Olympic lap pool, steam room, spa baths and lounge.

Incredible 100 Year Old Reclaimed Teak Slab Table

Over the years at Indoteak Design, we have seen many amazing pieces of reclaimed teak come through our doors but there was one batch of solid teak tables from an old military base in Java that caught our attention.
