The Cohn Group of Restaurants, owner of BO-beau in Long Beach, CA- is a San Diego based group that owns some of the finest eateries in Southern California. For over 33 years, David and Lesley Cohn have made it their mission to elevate the San Diego dining experience to new levels.  From their humble start owning a small diner in 1981, Cohn Restaurant Group has grown tremendously and now owns 24 restaurants throughout Southern California.

The quality and excellence of Cohn Restaurants has not gone unnoticed.  Many of their restaurants have earned recognition in the form of restaurant awards in the San Diego area.  Some of these awards include the San Diego Gold Medallion Awards, Gaslamp Quarter Association Lamplighter Awards, and other awards from local publications. David and Lesley have also been recognized for their strong community and industry support, including the Gaslamp Quarter Historic Association “Vision Award,” the San Diego Press Club’s “Entrepreneurs of the Year” Award, the San Diego City Schools for Exemplary Support and Commitment to Partnerships in Education and the Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Market Place Ethic.

While each restaurant varies wildly in terms of food and design, they all share the Cohns’ “obsession with hospitality.” Their philosophy focuses on superior service and aesthetic comfort, providing a premiere dining experience for each Guest. This vision rings true in each of their unique restaurants, but most strikingly in BO-beau Long Beach. The interior makes one feel like you’ve stepped back in time and are part of the Knights of the Round Table. The decor sets the tone for amazing dishes like their Filet Oscar, Famous Brussel Sprouts and the “to die for” Waygu Burger.

“While the eatery has a relatively casual environment, BO-beau kitchen has stunning décor including plush seating and reclaimed wooden tables. There is a rooftop beer garden that offers views of the surrounding downtown buildings, and a charming environment in which to meet friends or make new ones. The eatery serves up bistro plates like ratatouille, a wagyu burger, roasted chicken, bone-in ribeye and pork porterhouse, but they also offer flatbreads, calamari, shrimp cocktail, escargot, soups and salads. More casual bites can be found at the rooftop roof tap, from poutine and mac and cheese to Bavarian pretzels, grilled eggplant or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.”- CBS Los Angeles
